18 locals lost their homes and all their possessions in a terrible fire at Castle Ridge Apartments.  Luckily no one lost their life during the late night blaze.

We heard through the grape vine that an unnamed, but  famous O.C. diva wanted her pretty little Gidd-Jett cruiser in Aspen.  No one wanted to make the 1500 mile drive, so they had it shipped---UPS---overnight.  "That's how we roll" she giggled.   Photo: Charles Willson

Monarch Pass

Ryan Johnson, a local and his old HS bud Michael Ehmann convened atop Monarch Pass:  Alt. 11,312.  Ryan drove his car up from town, while Michael rode his bike up from coastal Virgina.  That's right, he was just passing through.   He completed his coast to coast journey from Va. to SF in 36 days.   That's an average of 85 miles per day.  Impressive.   Photo: Michael Ehmann.

Brigitte Center finds her center in the shadow of the famous MAROON BELLs.  The Bells are known as the most photographed peaks in Colorado. Photos of the Bells can never compare to the majesty of the real nature, but we do like this shot.
