Aspen loves to host the FIS WORLD CUP skiing events because the FIS always brings a Powder Storm with them. US SKI Team Press Officer Doug Haney brought racers Leanne Smith and Keely Kelleher out for a taste of the POW.

Brain Trust
The brains behind the US Women's Ski Team- Jesse Hunt (Race Director), Jim Tracy (W.Head Coach), Alex Hoedlmoser (Downhill Coach) and Jeff Fergus (Technical Coach). They welcomed the racers, their friends and families to the team reception at The Aspen Square.

Glamour Shot
Lindsey Vonn, Hailey Duke and 82 year old Connie Duke gave us a "glamour shot" at Aspen Square. Lindsey was last years overall World Cup Champion and she's considered the most successful Women's speed skier in US history.

EuroSport TV's on-air talent are huge celeb's in Europe. Martina Lechner (L) is a former skiing World Champion and Guido Heuber was a former World Cupper himself. Helen Heuber (Mrs Guido) is not a ski racer, but she looks pretty darn good on film.

America's sweetheart Lindsey Vonn and her hubby Thomas gave us an up close and personal shot. Lindsey overcame a severely bruised knee to finish fourth in both events in Aspen, GS and Slalom.

Casey Puckett and Chris Klug are training hard for a chance to return to Olympic glory. Puckett (Team KJUS) is trying to set a record by making his 5th Olympic Ski Team in 2010. Denied
Peter King, Aspen Mountain Manager calms an upscale guest who was upset that the Gondola is not operational. The Bucket was shut down for mechanical reasons on Sunday and Monday. Lets hope Tuesday is the charm, so we can ride in style.
