I like to ROCK!!
The US Air Guitar Championships regional contest, a fully sanctioned event, took place at Belly Up last night. Ryan (a.k.a Stryker) rocked it hard. Stryker got high marks for his stage presence and his "air-ness".

Random Cougs... Photo and Caption: Michael Rapetti.
Disclaimer: Ladies, face it, Cougar is a term of respect and endearment, and these ladies are waaaaay too young to be Cougars anyway.

On Top
Everybody keeps asking---"where's Johnny Aspen?" "Did he leave town?" Naaaaaa. J.A. is still on top of the mountain and playing with all the girls. Tagged on top of Ajax during the JUNE Ski Party with Lori Schmutz.

Those who wait
The line at 3 was a little longer than usual---but still shorter than Vail. After all it's June 15th for cripes sake. Photo: Jordan Curet. sportsshooter.com/jcuret

One Choice
Waiting in a lift line never felt so good. Riders had no other choice. Not bad for June 15, 2008.

Cork Fee
We didn't get a positive I.D. on this fella, but he was running around with corks in his ears, chugging wine directly from the bottle, inappropriately (but with permission) touching the ladies and simply having a blast. He must have big bucks, and be a fast talker because his pass was not pulled by the Food and Wine authorities. It's good to see you Dad.

Resort Quest Team
Aspen Spin thanks Resort Quest for becoming one of our new Summer sponsors. You can book sweeeet accommodations simply by clicking their banner ad (see left). The corner offices appeared to be empty during Food and Wine..... Why? RQ's brain trust (from left) Michael, Alexandra and Brian sampled the action @ F & W. Photo: Michael Rapetti.

Stella.....Stella
As many of you know---Bud Light is one of A-Spin's many sponsors, and we like Stella too. Stella Artois' parent company InBev is making a take-over play for Anheuser-Busch. As long as the check clears---we'll stay out of the fray,--- but we'd kind of like to see AB stay in American hands. Waaaaaaaaaz up with that hair, dude. Photo: Jordan Curet.

Is it legal?
"Absinthe is soooooooo good ---when it flows into your body, you get all numb and sh*t" ---anonymous.
A very potent herbal potion, Absinthe was the drink of choice among "bad men" in bohemian Paris in the late 19th century. The "green fairy" or 'devil in a bottle" as it's known is reported to have hallucinogenic properties. If you decide to imbibe---wear a helmet.
