Drinkability

Aspen Extremists click 4 pix.Like skiing, partying at 8,000 feet takes stamina, skill and practice.  Just like on Ajax, if you wanna hang with the Aspen locals, you better bring your A game.  A lot of "show ponies" visit Aspen in March & they think they're ready to party (RTP)---but they're often left holding the tab.

Recently we've seen some awesome examples of Aspen's DRINKABILITY

Dusty PowThe weather has been super-freaky too.  We had a week of the most beautiful 60 degree days followed by an epic dust storm that got mixed in with the POW to create sandpaper-like brown snow.  Then we got a series of storms from the North with crazy-high winds and some sweet, sweeeet cold-smoke powder accompanied by single digit temps, brrrr.

AspenSpin took advantage of both the late season dumpage and the end of March party-a-thon.  We leave the ski pix up to the pros, but when it comes to point and shoot party pix---we're #1.  So check yourself out, click:  DRINKABILITY.

Bald is Beautiful / Shining Stars

The Shining Stars held their annual Aspen Winter Games at Buttermilk Mountain. The Stars, 51 kids from 13 States, all who battle Cancer and other life threatening diseases got to kick it---Aspen Style.  In addition to their daily skiing and boarding (on the same hill that hosts ESPN's X-Games), the Stars got to party like rock stars all over Aspen.  We got into it @ Shining Stars HQ, The Inn @ Aspen, the Disco Inferno @ The Elks Club and the Awards Banquet @ St. Regis.

Click BALD is BEAUTIFUL 4 pix.

Watching these tough, talented athletes embrace mountain sports (some of them for the first time) was amazing.  Some of the kids were very shy at first, but they gained confidence, camaraderie and great life experiences while in Aspen.  It was a "week of good news" for kids whose typical agenda includes battling terrible diseases.

Shining Stars does great work. Click their site, support Shining Stars.
