Spring Loaded
April 5, 2009 In Aspen, April is the new March; meaning killa skiing and riding. Colorado's been getting copious amounts of Spring powder and the conditions in Aspen are siiiiiiiiiiiiiick. Saturday on Ajax, we got dumped on to the tune of 10-12". FRESHIES, Niiiiiiice.
The blizzzzz didn't stop SPRINGBOARD from throwing their annual Spring Fling BBQ to raise money for local non-profits. SpringBoard set up shop at Buckhorn Cabin on Ajax and served up burg.s, brats and brew-skis for the whole mountain. SpringBoard is a group of motivated young adults in Aspen who want to give something back to their community. SpringBoard annually selects several deserving charities in the Roaring Fork Valley to receive contributions. Learn more, give SPRINGBOARD;)
